In Nigeria, there are only three paths to getting wealthy. First is to win elective office or get appointed. Second is to be violent enough to disrupt the flow of money to these elected guys so they offer you a share. Third is to offer these elected guys a way to extract or move extracted wealth from government coffers to their personal pockets, taking a cut by the way. Until that is not the case, we will always be here. Those guys that bullshitted Trump already do not have their means of livelihood or wealth personally tied to Trump or any politician. That is the problem and the solution wrapped in one.
